Kenya Moore Posts Maya Angelou Quote Following Split

Kenya Moore is attempting to rise above her fallen relationship. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted an inspiring excerpt on Instagram on Wednesday, May 13 — shortly after discovering her Millionaire Matchmaker boyfriend is married and sharing the painful news with fans.

Sharing a portion of Maya Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise,” the Bravo star captioned her post “#mayaangelou #Still I'll Rise (partial).”

“You may write me down in history / With your bitter, twisted lies, / You may trod me in the very dirt / But still, like dust, I’ll rise,” Angelou’s poem and Moore’s post begins.

On Tuesday, May 12, Moore, who was set up with her now-ex James through Patti Stanger’s Bravo show, revealed she found out he was married just one week after their episode aired.

“I am astounded and devastated to have learned of this news via social media as opposed to him directly,” Moore, 44, shared with her followers. “However, I still believe in love and my heart remains open to the man God has for me. I wish him well,” she concluded.

Moore was set up with James back in March and, at the time, called him her “Prince Charming.”
