Henry Burris is an American-Canadian Football coach and former professional quarterback, presently serving as an offensive quality control coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).

Henry Armand Burris Jr was born on June 4, 1975, in Spiro, Oklahoma, United States. He attended Spiro High School in Spiro, Oklahoma, where he won four varsity letters each in football, track, basketball, and baseball.

Henry Burris later attended Temple University, where he was ranked as second all-time in Big East Conference passing with 7495 yards. He went undrafted in the NFL and signed a contract with the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders in 1997.

Henry Burris played college football with the Temple Owls before his professional career. He played Canadian football in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1998 to 2016 and had won three Grey Cup championships, two with the Calgary Stampeders, in 1998 and 2008,

Henry Burris won the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player Award in 2010 and 2015. He was named third in all-time CFL passing yards and passing touchdowns at the time of his retirement.

Henry Burris is presently a sports broadcaster and football analyst at TSN. He appears as a panel member on the network’s CFL on TSN broadcasts. He is married to Nicole Burris with whom he has two boys: Armand, who plays AAA Hockey in Ottawa, and Barron.
